There, I think that pretty well handles it. Any other questions?
Rob Freeman drives a Chevy and promoted a Ford also. That had to be the least bias opinion here.

After 2012 you really can't go wrong, all 3 are pretty close by comparison, it's more just looks and creature comforts that separate them. I'm a 7.3 guy, but if you handed me any of the newer 3 I'd be happy and feel fine towing either of my boats with. Just my $.02

Sorry but the Toyota Toyota in a drag race with a 27' Donzi BbC beat a Cummins with a 21' Scarab SBC and 6.7 Ford with a 20' Wellcraft SBC in a long drag race. Had them off the line and killed them on the top end. They were buddies of mine so believe I you and me we were racing.

He wanted an unbiased opinion and I gave him one the Ford is hands down the better Truck and if you want to get down to it the Ford is the only one the has a straight Axle in the front. Which for me if I needed that kind of truck would sell me. Ever see what happens to the frame of a Chevy when you hook a chain to the front of the truck and try to pull something heavy in reverse while in 4wd? I have because I've welded a few frames back together. These were newer Trucks.

I've had ford work trucks that turned me completely off ford. 05 model year (I know your looking newer just saying) and it was in for warranty work 13 times in the first year. Most of our fleet trucks were having that problem all new 550s. Another fleet had duramax and were rarely ever getting stranded. This is what pushes me over the ledge and I haven't had a lick of trouble out of my GMs since. GM for me. To each his own.

I know my buddy's 2013 cummins, gets wayyy better mileage than my other buddy's 2010 cummins. Both 2500's, both 4x4 crew cabs, both white in color. The 2010 gets 16 empty with a tail wind on the highway not towing. The 2013 gets over 20 all day. I think the 2010 is a re-gen setup, and 2013 uses DEF. ?.

My pre emissions Cummins got the best mileage 2003-2007

My 2008-2010 trucks did well and once deleted got almost as good mileage

My 2013 gets better mileage then the deleted 2010 but not quite as good as the 2003. I LOVE the 2013 DEF system and thought I would Never admit to that. The truck runs better then the regen setups, smoother, and cleaner. Hauling 20-30k daily and going 15,000 miles between oil changes rocks!

Ram 2013 100% Hooked up to 20-30K daily 132,000 miles 100% Trouble free. Only fluid and filters changed.

The other side of this is I have a good friend who is a GM tech ( something breaks I got a guy) which may sway my decision but I really do like the Dodge. Ford is out, the only good motor is the newest one and the trucks are a lot more money. I like what Dodge is doing.

Kevin, what rear end ratio do you prefer?

Joe, does your buddy with the 2010 have in the back.. Keiths 3.23 rear end will give him a nice advantage on the highway Miles compared a 4.10
