I just assumed that Ford stopped selling diesel pickups after the 6.0 and 6.4 fiasco's. Who in their right mind would buy one?

I have one and I love it. I guess I'm out of my mind, my 6.7 pulls my top gun with ease.

The local Ford house has been generous with the trade-ins so he still will try again. The same Ford house has a large parking lot full of diesels (I'd guess 40-60) waiting repair. The GM dealer across the street only has a few.

Ford has been the better looking truck IMO however looks only get you so far.
Some of the LLY's had injector issues too. Just not near the number the LB7's had. The LLY's biggest issue was overheating.

Well when they keep breaking, you have to keep buying more!

LOL no doubt. On a side note, my gf has an 05 Mustang....I have put more rear brake light/turn signal bulbs in that car than all the bulbs ive put in every vehicle ive owned in my life. Its not just hers either. her mom also has the same car with the same deal as well as several others I see on the road. Its freakin ridiculous !

I believe the OP's article was referring to the early 6.7s.......I would hope the '15 Duramax's have had "very few" issues seeing that it's JANUARY 2015. I don't really have a dog in this fight, I drive a junky ol' Cummins 5.9, but to try and say the SuperDuty 6.7 is by and large junk is a stretch.

OP is discussing the issues of the 6.7 and the EGT sensors. It's not pervasive but by no means isolated. Go to Powerstroke.org and the 6.7's have lots of issues.

I hope Ford can fix the issue. Not dissing them at all, great trucks.
