Default Time to trade my 2008 2500 LTZ HD D-max?

I'm seriously thinking of making a move this spring to a 2015 2500 HD. I love the looks of the new design both inside and out. My dilemma, is that there really is nothing wrong with my current ride. It has 88K miles and is in excellent shape, its fully loaded, has a color matched ARE hard tonneau cover and a bed rug with Chevy logo. What's a realistic mileage expectation for my current vehicle? I've heard different opinions on injector life and that is really my major concern.

If I do make a move, I'll go diesel again since i love the way it pulls my boat.

There is no reason you should not get 400k+ miles out of those injectors. Seriously we have the nervous nellies who cry about not enough lubricity in thefuel. These engines have been tested with the low sulfur fuel and have been designed for it.

Having said that the 2015's are awesome- I have one- and there is NO comparison to the previous body style the new one blows them away.

Send me a PM with what you want to know. As I said it is loaded. The Michelin LTZ's have ~8K miles on them. Factory shocks replaced 2 years ago with Bilstein 5100's.

My '08 D-Max just turned 100K miles. Runs like new, never had a single issue. I have 95K miles on a 6" lift and no issues there either. Awesome trucks! However, I too love the new style and wish I could afford one tricked out like my current truck.

I have acustomer who actually have 2 of those 2008...
Both over 600 000 miles ! I just sold him a 2015 on order, not to replace the old ones! He needed one more truck!!!
Day and night with previous model, but those old model were real good so new ones are unbeatable!

The sales tax on the new truck would probably exceed the cost of changing the injectors.....mine lasted 150K miles (2003 model, one of the trouble years).

If you are just pulling a 292 you may want to consider a gasser. A friend went 250K on his last diesel but decided to try a gasser (cheaper buy, cheaper operating cost) and he says the mileage for daily driving is identical. Come resale time he will take a hit but for what he uses it for (construction) it is a good match. Sure a diesel is faster, pulls better but the limits the new gassers have are pretty impressive. He hasn't missed the diesel yet and he is 40K miles into the new truck already.
