My 2015 dually avgs 13 around town and at 60mph around 20 and at 80mph around 15-16. All DIC numbers but I have hand checked it to be pretty accurate.

2014 Crew Cab Reg. Bed 6,000 miles on it I run a 5" lift and 305/55 tires I just went to LOTO and back (not pulling the boat) first run till I filled up hand calc at 16.8 running 75-80 all the way. On the way back I went around St. Louis instead of the back roads (rt 54) and I did a bit better 17.2 Mph.

For running a lift kit and wide tires I couldn't be happier

I put a Bullydog tuner on mine when it was brand new and it is showing 19mpg avg over the 50K miles I have put on it. It will get 21-22mpg on the interstate with the cruise on 75mph empty. I use the economy/tow program on the controller.

For real on going back to the 60k drive-train warranty? Maybe time to trade in the 36k mile 2012 and keep a 2015 for long term then...

Any other changes for 2016 Duramax?

I chose my 2008 GMC hood and body over the Chevy but not sure I care for the square lines on the redesigned HD GMC's. They look much more pronounced up close than in pictures.
Before there were also interior differences; with the redesign, everything is exactly the same for a given trim level......
