Sport chassis

Allstate wrote a policy for mine when I had it. It had to be a separate policy just for the truck and was a commercial policy, even though it was a "not for hire" truck. It's been 3 years since I sold it, but the policy was somewhere in the $1200 per year range. Hope that helps.

state farm insures my f650 as a personal vehicle about $700 a year I put it storage with the boat and reduce coverage till spring ends up costing about $500 a year , I had a sport chassis before this and they insured that.

depending on where you are i have a couple insured through Auto Owners. your agent just has to have a good working relationship with the under writer to get the fine details in there correct for them

Try State Farm. When I decided to step up from a 1 ton dually I spoke to my agent about both Sport Chassis and road tractors. They told me they would insure either as long as I was towing one of my toys. I could not use it to tow something for money. I ended up buying a Volvo road tractor which they insured ( full coverage ) for $ 950 a year.
