it appears that the pryo was installed rith at the outlet between the turbo and the down pipe

Yes it's at wheels they did the test at a sema show,I think that's what the Imco rep told us at a meeting 2years ago. I can call to verify if you would like.

If yours is an 03 Cummins HO Turbo Diesel, then the brochure states 305hp @ 2900 rpm 555 pound-feet of torque @ 1400 rpm.

That isn't where you want it. Drill and tap your exaust manifold and put your sensor there. Go to Turbo Diesel Register for info on how to do it. Not that difficult just a little scary the first time. I try to keep my egt's below 1200*. Short bursts of 1300* not a problem.

IMO maybe if your making 600+ HP you might get a 30 HP increse but on a stock motor that claim is a large steaming pile of bs. My money is where my mouth is.
