Default Head Enclosures

Now that the family has grown it's time to put an interior into the big empty cavern of my 41. Are enclosures like the one in the 322 available for the 41? If so, can I get it though the door? My boat has the side by side with the entry door off the the port side of the boat.

I was going to use the space between the stringers right at that bulkhead to enclose the ac unit. I understand normally it is under the v berth but I don't want to upset the balance of the boat too much, took too long to get it right.

Having something like this would be really nice.

I would call Steve at the factory and ask him about the head enclosure, but I don't think it will be a problem. The A/C units that we use only weigh about 40 pounds, so you should be able to put it anywhere you want without much concern about upsetting the balance of the boat.

I'll post some pics of my cavern tomorrow. When Steve built the boat I asked him to leave the cabin empty and just throw in a few extra bulkheads. Other than the carpet there is nothing in there. Honestly didn't want the carpet but Steve thought is was a good idea, he was right.

I'm going to be in FL at the end of Oct and I'm hoping to stop by the factory. Been a while, last time I was there the place looked like this. Look how young this guy is here too

Wow, looking at that pic I still love the lines of the 41 after all these years. My boat turns 10 next year.

The 41 is awesome - always was, always will be.

I know, it's been a while......too long. I did see Steve at a few races over the years though.

October through December is usually when rebuilds are done, so your timing is good.
