What about the noise restrictions and any muffler requirements? It sems to be mentioned inthe Shootout Rules and the FUN RUN rules.

Sonny,
I am sure that the restrictions are lifted fror the Shootout. I know that most of our boats did not have mufflers last year. I an NOT sure about dry exhaust for the fun run. I will contact the Missouri Water Patrol and find out what the rules are for sure. Does anyone out there know for sure???

Re: Lake of the Ozarks Shootout & Poker Run
I talked with the Missouri Water Patrol this morning regarding open dry exhaust systems.. I asked how the rules apply for the Shootout. He told me that you have a 24 hour window prior to the race for tuning and testing. Boats with dry exhaust CANNOT run the lake. The exemption to the rules applies only for setting up for the race. I do not believe that a boat with a water muffeled exhaust would have a problem. If anyone has a question, I will be glad to check it out.

Still looking for more great Velocity owners for the Shootout and Fun Run the weekend before Labor Day at the Lake of the Ozarks. If anyone needs more information, let me know.

Just booked a few rooms at Tan-Tar-A. Will have to touch base with the group as we get closer to make arrangements to meet up.
