This year’s Velocity Fest will feature an overnight cruise from the northern Chesapeake Bay to Kent Narrows, which is just across the Bay Bridge from Annapolis, Maryland. We will be cruising south this year and will be taking in some very scenic areas as we cover the 145 mile round trip course. The price for the event is $125 which includes a full buffet Breakfast for two, a Saturday afternoon appetizer reception at Red Eyes, a free Velocity Sweatshirt for early registrants and a chance to win free Saturday night lodging (~$200). We will be there,who is bringing there wife or girlfriend.My wife will drive down in the car and meet us at Red Eyes along with a few of the other ladies.Sowho is coming,should be a great event and a good run.

Generally about 75% of the boats have couples on board and I'd expect this year to be even more. I'll give an update on who's registered in a week or so - I already received one yesterday! We'll have a good mix of new owners and veterans this year. I'll see what I can do on the 410 Concept boat attending. Thanks are extended to Bill, Steve and Brain/Chris for helping plan this out back in March at Dave and Busters and also to John Schultz for giving me some very good advice.

Unfortunately, our Fun/Poker Run on Lake Norman is scheduled for that weekend and chances are very slim that we can change them. We had to cancel our May 20th run because of our host sponsor/restaurant closed to change over their bar. We have the restaurant/slips booked also. We will check and see.

Scheduling these runs is always a challenge and you always have your fingers crossed until the last minute that the host establishments come thorugh as agreed! Much success on your Lake Norman run! We'll miss seeing you guys in the Chesapeake and we'll miss not being able to do your run as we did have a group planning to attend this year. There's always next year!

All Velocity Fest attendees are envited to my home on Frog Mortar Creek (Middle River) Md as a pit stop on there way back north to the Goose Sunday mourning July 30th.

Our house is about half way to the Goose from Red Eyes so it should be a nice rest stop plus a little more time to spend with our fellow Velocity friends and family.

This is just an option for anyone who doesn't want the party to stop saturday. I thought we would leave Red Eyes around 10-10:30 that would put us at our house at around 11:30-12:00. Hang out jump in the pool.
