Yes, I am considering the fact that a lefty will be harder on the drive. RH props are easier to come by on the used market as well. I guess the best thing to do is try both and if there is no difference, run RH. If the lefty works better then I can always install a better top cap, with studs, and a drive shower. I have a spare drive just incase too...

Hey Guys,
I'm going to buy a B1 for my boat first, but has anyone tried a 5 blade?
The P5-X ran great on my Superboat and was not much slower than a B1.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for all of the advice.
Yesterday I received a nice 26p B1 RH prop that I purchased from a fellow OSO'r...
I have a good friend that runs lefty B1s on his Fountain so I'll have a chance to try both rotations.
Next chore is to get my engine installed...

Good luck with your new ride Pat, when you hit the water let me know, I have a labbed 26 4 blade that is more like a 27 pitch you can try, also a 24 p5x and trevor has a new 25 5 blade you can try. See you on the sound in the spring.

Thanks Morgan!
I just replied to your e-mail.
Regarding your boat, call Mike or Chris at Ocean Performance (860) 388-6000. Tell them you are following up on a call Mike made to me last week.

Hoping to be on the water in early June...

You really know how to have fun!...I just had a standing seam metal roof installed on our house, a liitle pricey but turned out really nice. Here is a pic, It is a charcoal color. looks kinda brown in the pic.
