So why not post your HP and speed since you seem to think all Baja's are slow so we can see how many Baja's will be waiting up for you if you decide to come and watch the shoot out. I know there are some fast velocity's out there but if yours is not 1 of them you should not talk about any other brand of boat and speed
I'm sorry if you took it the wrong way, I was just making a statement of a video I saw from boat test .com and the speed was 66 mph. I change the speed to 162 mph in the first thread and the corrected speed to 166 mph in other one. Are you happy now? My Velocity has little ol 496's and runs around the 85 mark. Not fast enough for me but will have to do for now. Trust me I was not bashing Baja's so get the burr out of you a$$, quit complaining and tell me a little more about your hot boat and some pictures would be nice. I also hope the people that are losing their jobs will find work elswhere.

Wouldn't that be a little bit optimistic? That with a real GPS speedo or the standard Velocity "happy daze" version?

No that is advertised speed, just like the 66 mph Baja. You know, "to get your foot in the door." Remember you always go with the higher speed version what ever it may be. Beside who has time to look at the speedo in a Volicity at WOT anyway? They are either falling off the pad or hopping up and down or getting huge air time. Ragged you know as well as anyone Velocity boats aren't like a Baja where you just push the throttles down and go digging thru the ice chest.

Oops, sorry, I forgot to take your name out of that quote.

We cant be considered step children,
for a couple of reasons.....we're probably
best considered foster children, since
our parents dumped us

Reggie's got to be somewhat of a ok guy if he's going
to adopt us basterds

I can't squeeze a intercooler in ( breathers rub on hatch
already) and it makes no sense to just heat up the air with a smaller pulleys, so there just stock 575's.

These are the best engines I've had in any of my boats,
I really don't want to mess with them til it's time to do
so.
