oil temp senders

I just finished the install of the oil temperture sending units on the 496's on my 320 Velocity. Ray at Raylar suggested The best place to install them was under the oil filter on the filter remote bracket. Mounting them there will give a true temp reading before the oil goes thru the cooler. I used the small 1/8 sender due to room restriction under the bracket. Here is how it came out. Thanks Ray @ Raylar for your brilliant suggestion. VV

Hey Vector, What do you have for a gauge and where did you get the sender. Im in need of one for a faria gauge

Sick I have livorsi monsters and the sender is livorsi. I would think any sender for oil temp will work on any gauge.
