Thanks DV.
I'm looking to down size to something in the 18-22ft range that would be easier to handle. I also want to get back into water skiing and the kids love tubing.
The wife is pushing me to either keep this boat, or if I buy a smaller boat, she wants it to have a cabin.
Seeing pics of your boat and that new 22 being built have me thinking a 22 Velocity would be a good option.
As for the B1 prop on the boat right now, it is on the edge of being too big. If the engine did not get up to 4600, I'd change it. Yes, BBlades, you and I all agree the labbing the stock B1 for another 2-300 would gain some speed. I've also been told that I may want to try a Hydro QIV.

What, the Hydro?
The Hydro QIV is a 4 blade cleaver style stern lifting prop.
The QIV-X is a 4 blade similar to a B1.
The Hydro QV and QV-X are 5 blade props.
Rick, the guy that owned my boat befor me, ran a QIV left hand on her.

For those who are interested in the higher windscreen and top, here's a shot of it on the boat it came from.
Also, a shot of another 280 with the higher windscreen.
I have not ever mounted it on my boat; probably next year if she does not sell.

Pat,
I have a 1995 28" Velocity that need some wind protection. Are you selling the windshield and camper top w/o a boat?
Thanks

If I sell the boat without it, I will then put it up for sale.

Thanks VV. I've got most everything the way I want it. Time to sell right?
I've had 5-6 calls, but only one guy come see her, and no offers.
It's a tough market and probably not the best time of year to sell either.
It's OK if we have her for next season; things could be worse...
