no i don't get a roost. The boat will chine walk badly if it falls off the pad and i have to constantly give steering input to keep it on the pad @ wot. I did measure the x at one point but i don't remember what it was. The bottom is getting blue printed right now because there are some hooks and rockers in the hull. The guy blue printing the hull says my x might be too low and I'm getting too much prop torque too. I'd like to try an Imco shorty buts thats alot of money for something that I don't know is going to work. What is your x? have you tried a shorty before?
