Default Tyler Crockett 220 project

I read an article in some boating rag about a 95' 220 that tyler crokett was working on. They left it off when they put a imco shorty on it. Anybody know any results?

The boat ran 94 -96 mph. We put the 2" shorty on so we could lower the engine in the boat so we could get rid of some chine walk. We also put K plane on and that helped also.

So did the imco help? Gain speed?
