On my old 26T i pulled the switch out and jumped the wires after it sat for the winter and forgot to pull the pin in the ram. good luck

Thanks for the offer to help DKerns! I was just out there yesterday (they are still cleaning things up from the floods) but I didn't have access to the boat at the time to check on it. I have to get it winterzied first so hopefully the batteries will still be good, but I think I have that swing plate so it can be lifted if needed.
