Engine Boggs coming out of the hole?
I was running great first 5 hours but now loading up ,running rough coming out of the hole. Once you're out it runs fine and doesn't miss. But seems to be missing real bad or flooding (bogging down) coming out.. to on plane. It's the 2001 502 EFI . I'm on the second tank of fuel. Any idea's?
Still haven't put the labbed Bravo 28 prop on yet. Still trying to get used to the boat and handling before it goes any faster!!
The vapor lock seems to be what my hard starting was. We had 1 warm day and 2 cool that I was out. It started fine without running before shut down on the cool days. Started fine on the warm day when I ran for a minute or so at high idle before shut down. But the once I forgot to run before shut down on the warm day had to raise the hatch and let it sit for awhile . Seems like there's got to be a fix for this?

not sure on the engine but I would put the new prop on and learn with that. It will give you better control and throttle response. I have run mine 3 times now with the new prop and have not had any slippage compared to the hydro, which was like driving a rear wheel car in the rain.

Prop
Scott sent me the wrong prop. Left hand instead of right. Soon as I get the new one it's going on..got to pull it out to find out why I'm bogging and missing still.
