Anyone get rid of the pods?

I have never been a fan of velocities windshield, so i removed it and the pods at the same time, Its a little bit of work and will require some fiber glassing but you cant beat the look of a clean flat dash. Here is mine with the pods removed, glassed and dash painted.

Your dash does look sweet. I do like Velocity's dash's when looked at from the drivers seat. I just don't think the pod look fits the look of the hull (when viewed from the front or side).

The boat was dropped off to get new stringers and bulkheads this past weekend. I'll be building out the dash shortly after that, and I'll try to post some pictures.
