Couple of questions for ya. Assuming you have the standard 1.50 drive and 26P prop:

- Appx how fast are you going at 2500, 3000 and 3500 RPMs?
- What is the best cruise speed when considering fuel economy and speed?
- Whats the best fuel economy you have achieved with that combo?

Thanks!

I have found my 260 seems to cruise best at about 3500-3700. That's moving at about 50ish based on conditions (fresh water). I have a 26p labbed bravo 1 on a 496 mag non-ho.

Did you get the boat wet yet Rich? Previous owner reported about 70 WOT when he had the boat. We appreciate the business and call me if you decide to go with trim tabs or need any other parts. John at www.UpperChesapeakeYachtSales.com

Thanks John. The prop is at Black Dog getting refinished now. Have not splashed it yet. It's been pretty much gutted and re-done. Everything came out but the motor and was replaced, repaired or refinished. New gauges, electronics, head, stereo, carpet, bolsters, cushions, batteries, battery charger, etc etc. Hoping for more then 70. That prop was not anywhere near 100%.

Still need another hatch lift actuator though. What size is the one you have?

Sorry for the slow response Rich. The actuator I have here at the house is 19" closed and 31" open pin to pin. I also have longer ones at the shop. Let me know about what you are looking for. Thanks
