[QUOTE=Kings11;3755604]I have a 32' Advantage Victory going together hopefully this winter if things work out with 556ci big blocks. It should dance to 100 mph.

My 30 has HP500's, 1.5 bravo xr's with speedmaster lowers turning in. Ran 84 with 5 blade 15.5 x 28 hydromotives and 94 with 15.5 x 31 5-blade hydromotives at 5300 (limiters) with 3 guys and 1/2 fuel on flat fresh water. I think she has more in her as we ran 90 with half fuel and 6 people on board. I just need to get some 33's or 34's and see if we can turn them.

Don't think my truck could get it up that fast on the highway, so only other place to do it is the water
3 of us were in the boat...I throttled and Steve Stepp himself was at the wheel! Can't wait to get back up to Lake Monroe and try for triple digits.

Back when Steve built these in the 80's , a standard 30' velocity w/420's would run 85 mph . Fast foward 25 years and put 500 HP's in and new prop tech , then those numbers seem reasonable . Now imagine what the results would be building a new light weight one with 525's

How are the 26 pitch hydros as fast or faster as a 2 pitch larger size bravo at the same RPM?
