Default Velocity 41 Owner

Finally, I have sometime to post after getting my purchase to a phase of completion. In September 2013, I purchased a 2002 Velocity, V41 without engines. I bought the boat online, unseen. It wasn't long before I set out on an adventure to pick it up. Upon arrival I could not have been any happier it was exactly as described. The Velocity has know received a pair of 502 MPI engines from a 1999 Viper Powerquest that I have parted out for starters. This purchase led to an exciting project last winter living here in the cold State of Michigan that kept me busy preparing it for the warmer days. I would have to say this summer was an awesome one here in West Michigan. The summer months may have been a little on the cooler side but nothing that kept me from boating every chance that I had. Around West Michigan, not many Velocity's are spotted but that has not stopped people from turning their heads and waving. The feedback that I hear from on lookers is always positive and makes me even more proud of being apart of the Velocity Family.

As with purchasing anything online and unseen, I was a little nervous making the purchase not knowing Kenny, from Velocity. It did not take long for my nerves to settle dealing with him. Kenny is a man of his word. The description could not have been any more accurate. I could not be more thankful for such a more smooth and comfortable transaction. Kenny called even after the transaction was complete and willingly answers any questions that I may have.

Congrats, it's a beautiful boat. What props/rpm/speed are you running with the 502's?

Congrats! Welcome to the Velocity family.

Ditto on Kenny, a stand up guy.

Nice boat! I've seen it in person, docked with the full enclosure up. That's pretty slick.

PQ I'm pretty sure I seen that boat on the way out to the big water at Boyne Thunder. Congrats on your purchase and I hear you on the not seeing many Velocity's here in Mi. I had a 280 Velocity for 11 years and enjoyed it every time I was behind the wheel.

I am running 26 bravo one props. At 5200 rpm the boat runs 70ish depending on conditions.

Where did you see it with the enclosure up? Yes the enclosure is nice and creates a lot of extra room, when overnighting on the boat.

Yes, I was a spectator at Boyne Thunder this year. I was anchored in Round Lake. Awesome event.
