Event Cost::

What about costs? While VELOCITY Powerboats will be providing prizes and helping with the promotional aspects, the actual costs will be paid for by the attendees. There will be an entry fee of $225 per boat which includes two meal tickets. Additional meal tickets can be purchased for $45/ea. I think you'll find these fees extremely reasonable considering the quality of food that will be offered (no burgers and hot dogs for this event!) and excellent North East surroundings. We can only do this through the generous efforts of volunteers and break-even pricing. To participate, all boats must be registered in advance in order to secure the Nauti-Goose.

One Catch - we need a minimum of 20 registered boats to meet our insurance costs and head count commitment to the Nauti-Goose. If we don't get the 20 boats, we may need to cancel-don't let this happen! Unfortunately, no last minute registrations can be accomodated!

Re: VELOCITY Fest (3)

The paper work I have says the ent. fee is $100.00 = $45 for more than two.

Re: VELOCITY Fest (3)

Tom,

Nope - $225 is the number. You must be looking at the preliminary (pre-insurance sticker shock!) draft announcement. Please take a look at what I emailed you last week for the full and correct information package. Thanks.

Rick

Re: VELOCITY Fest (3)

Clay Ratcliffe from Velocity Powerboats indicated yesterday that the National Fun Run Invitations will be mailed out this week to owners currently in his customer file. If you haven't received a previous mailing this spring from Velocity, please forward your Name, Address, Phone, email, Boat Year and Boat Length to Richard.engstrom@unisys.com to receive an electronic copy of the invitation and get your information appended to Velocity's customer files.

Also - Please remember the entry deadline is July 21st.
