Surveyor in Phoenix Area

Anyone know of a good performance boat surveyor in Phoenix area?

Also could use some help looking over a boat mechanically and doing leakdown and compression test.

Don't know of any surveyors. A good mechanic should be able to do a leak down test. I've used Dry Dock Marine 623-842-0898 for an engine rebuild. Very good and honest. What and where are you looking at? Maybe I could take a quick look for you. I'm not in the industry but have owned several boats.

I'm going to be in Phoenix (Carefree) over Christmas and I'd be happy to look at the boat for you and take photos. Might be able to do a compression check depending on how easy it is to get to the plugs (I can bring some basic hand tools but will be driving my Vette so can't carry a lot).

I really appreciate all of the help offers. I still may try and buy this boat but another one was listed on Saturday in the oso classifieds and I am going to take a run at it. I like it alot.

Call chuck at Extreme Marine. He can do the mechanicals for you and is very well versed in high end stuff ( skaters, formulas, hustlers, nor-techs and such ). His number is 602-749-0798. He can also refer you to someone to do a NAMS survey/appraisal oe equivalent. Here's one I found for you here in Scottsdale.

Did Extreme Marine close down? I went by the other day and some other company was in the building. I heard good things about Extreme... I'm surprised.
