Races
I used to go to all the West Coast races over the years, but unfortunately about 5 years ago the racer ranks have thinned out considerably and seems to be a dying sport on the West Coast.
In Oceanside there would be approx. 70 boats racing for the POPRA race- the last time I went to that same race there was about 12 boats!! (5 years ago)
I hope in the future the sport gains more popularity and attracts more racers, sponsors and spectators!!
