need some help planning a trip out to havasu

Internet sucks for planning this trip since i dont know to much about it besides i want to be there. Anyway me and a friend of mine were planning on flying out to vegas and driving down i guess and need to know where to get a hotel, where to rent a decent boat, and how to find a hotel near the party spots, were trying to find if there is any big poker runs out there towards the end of summer thats what were planning on coming out to see and party for, im sure some people there can help me out its just the 2 of us not bringing the girls with us for obvious reasons and cant bring the boats with us either so thats why were trying to rent, more of a speed boat type that can sleep 2 if possible most rentals i see are pontoon or open deck boats any info would be greatly appreciated,

Party Spots - Not sure but Call Agave Inn, they can tell you

You will probably be better off to get a hotel room with air conditioning, rather than sleeping on a boat, Havasu in the summer can be very HOT, you will want to have a cool place to sleep.
for hotels check: London Bridge Resort - www.londonbridgeresort.com - (928) 855-4777 -
It is right on the channel, and next to Kokomos (bar), also has boat slips for people staying at the hotel.

You might also want to consider the Nautical Inn, Nice New hotel, on the water, with a beech, has boat rentals right there, right on Thompson Bay, excellent location, lots happening there and right next to the channel.

Nautical Inn Resort - www.nauticalinn.com - (928) 855-2141

Good luck,
David
