San Deigo/Mission bay

Looking for a good place to launch in San Deigo bay. Preferably with a wash down area. Thinking about checking out the Hydro races on the 20th & 21st.

San Diego Ramps

The best ramp and parking is in Mission bay Off Seaworld drive. New ramp and new docks. Dana Landing has one across from the main gate of Sea World, its also a good ramp. There is two more in Mission bay but they are more for small boats. Its a short run around point loma into San Diego bay. None of the SD ramps have washdown water. San Diego bay has a ramp on Shelter Island across from Humphrys. Its a little tight and has some surge. There is another ramp in the Chula Vista harbor that is good but a 40 minute 5mph through the no speed zones.

I'm planning on watching the races from the water in front of crown point...close to the drag boats

Campland on the Bay I've heard has a launch ramp and washdown facilities...never been there though...not sure if it is a public ramp.
