This has been to alot of ramps that people were in 4wd and this did not need it................maybe lucky, maybe the weight of it? But I am sure that it is NOT unstoppable 4WD would be the best way to go if you dont ever want to fear the ramp...........but find this truck in 4wd very few have been made and they go for HUGE $$$$$$$

Just think of which ramps you normally go to and what is the condition of those rams, can you pull your 28' boat out of the water with 2wd and you current vehicle. I know that one of the ramps I go to I can't pull out in 2wd, so I bought a 4wd. Anothing thing is why does this have a Dodge engine with a Chevy tranny in a Ford. That's not normal for the F-650's is it (I don't know that's why I'm asking but seems a little weird).

That is the way it comes......You can get the CAT or the CUMMINS with a few ALLISONS tranys or you can get a couple of stick shifts.

My .02, overkill for a 28'. Not at all financially practical unless you have other things to tow. With that said if you have money to burn and think it's a cool truck (it is a cool truck) go for it. Everyone needs to have toys.
