Default colorado boaters

HI all,

I was wondering if people could tell me their favorite lakes both within 2 hours of Denver, and 5 hours of Denver!

Thanks!

Within 2 hours of Denver is Pueblo Reservoir. Within 5 hours is Blue Mesa in central Colorado.

After living in Denver for 25+ years,,,,,,,,,,would take the 2 hours , and add another 9 hours and go to LOTO ( Lake of the Ozarks)

I have been to Colo - and even Pueblo Reservoir. IMO not much of a boating state period. Wonder how boat dealers and boat related businesses fair thou out the year ?

Seems Pueblo is the best that's the closest. Although, Glendo does seem great!

How enforced is the 40MPH statewide speed limit. We cruise faster than that!

Looking around in CO it seemed alot of boats were very old as well for what I seen. Really did not see that much in a way of new boat dealerships nor new boats anywhere. IMO Surely would be hard surviving in a boat business in the state but I am sure the snowmobile business and ski related stuff is huge.
