Default 2nd. Annual Booze Crooze, 10-25-08

We'll be doing the 2nd. Annual Booze Crooze from the foot of Broadway on October 25th. We'll just load up the boats and go for a ride down the Cumberland River, hang out, do a little wakeboarding, and do a little

We'll be taking my boat, a Mastercraft, a guy with a 25' Pontoon boat, and maybe a few other guys. This could be the last run of the year, so let's make it count....

Launch time will be around 11-1130 and be back and loaded before dark.

Sure don't, only a large suit that I barely fit in. Find one and come out Saturday....

I heard the other day that there are still 3 barges sunk in the Hillman Ferry area in the river channel. They were sunk in the big storm we had a few weeks ago. If any of you guys get out that way, be careful. They say there are several boats at Jet-A-Marina with damage that are under investigation.

daum, I haven't heard that. The channel is 40 or 50 feet through there, they must be standing on end. In the channel that's a navagation hazard, you'd think getting them out would be priorty number one.

Maybe they're over to one side.... As the story goes, there were 6 sunken but only 3 were recovered. They're supposed to be marked, but weren't marked very well so a few were hit. I'll be out there Saturday if the weather's nice and I'll check it out.
