Kevlar 50 foot BARE HULL Scarab by Larry Smith made for Drambuie Liqueurs with NEW aluminum custom trailer made by Owens & Sons Marine, Inc.
Seller is 76 and has lost interest in doing a modern resto of this classic race boat.
Interested buyers are encouraged to visit and have hull inspected by a licensed marine surveyor. This is the former Tantalus long distance ocean race boat owned by Drambuie Liqueur Company. Hull was damaged during Drambuie racing ownership and has been professionally restored to better than new original condition. Resto includes new ablative bottom paint.
Accessories included are 11 aluminum fuel tanks with 1200 gallon total capacity, stainless steel rails and trim, Bimini aluminum top frame, dual helm steering, custom rear deck engine hatches, more.
Repairs not completed include forward deck needs to be re-cored / restored, or removed for center console conversion. Interior hull is bare, clean and requires total refinishing and rigging. With new, never titled, custom tri-axle aluminum trailer.
Buyers are encouraged, again, to visit and have hull thoroughly inspected. This is a special boat built by the original Scarab designer, Larry Smith. It is a high deck, high seas, high performance Kevlar hull. Will be sold "as is" to highest offer.
Clean titles on both boat and trailer.
