Re: Looking for the lime green Activator
I like this banter between Link and BJ. BJ I think you got em covered. My father may have the yellow Magnum sold, not sure, maybe we'll see ya. I know, and you know you can smoke my father's boat, but that won't stop him from turning around and rolling along side of you to run you - if he still has it this summer. How are you keeping that drive alive?

Re: Looking for the lime green Activator
John, it's good to see your true colors!! I have tried to tell BP for the past couple years there was something about you that I just didn't like, Now the truth is out and you cant hide it anymore, It pains me to write this John, I thought I had one more friend on this planet but I was wrong, you have experienced the wrath of the twin engine Velocity first hand and you have seen triple digits and you still are a non believer, when BP gets wind of this he will be heart broken and I'm not going to be the one to tell him, just remember John when you are idling past the back of my boat at jellyfish not two but three John, THREE............ (LOOSER)
Be it known by "ALL" who read this that John (R Addiction) is a VELOCITY HATER!!!!! |
Re: Looking for the lime green Activator
Ted......Come on now....I simply stated that a certain 28 ft A....E got beat to Jellyfish and on it's way down it snapped a rocker stud. And yes I have experienced the wrath of the triple digit Velocity...but all I've ever seen of this triple engine 30 is....pictures   No offense.....just bring it!!
Oh yeah...I have a World Champion t-shirt from '02 & '03. Wheres my Links shirt? :D Don't be Hatin'!!! I'm just a pleasure boater...hurts to much to race!! :D |

Old school
No doubt, Dad runs everybody. I kinda hope your dad does'nt sell. It's always good to see you guys out there. As for the drive>>>>30 hours on the boat and drive. About 80 on the engine and all is running great. (I hope I did'nt just jink myself). I hope to be out Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. See you soon! |
Re: Looking for the lime green Activator
Link, Going to dinner with BP and BP (Bob Powell and Bay Princess) tonight. We'll see just how pissed he is!! :D
|
Re: Looking for the lime green Activator
Come on Ted.... In order to get to JJ you will have to get that boat WET. When is that gonna happen? :evilb:
I will be sorry to see the old yellow magnum go. Every time I see that boat Dad is jumping on me or somebody else. That is a fun old boat |

BJ,- yeah he should be out on Sunday, he is very predictable - be down at the creek around 4:00 - 5:00 PM after we hand around the mouth of the Bohemia ands Turkey Point waiting for someone to run. Good to hear your boat is running well, and 30 hours for hard you boat is probably not that bad, until it comes time pay, and wait for rebuild to get done. So when is this Velocity dusting going to occur? |

Re: Looking for the lime green Activator
Hey John, lets get Ted to agree that every weekend he does not have his Velocity in the water, he has to buy all of the captain and cokes ,do you think we could get that out of him.I will see you and Bob and your better halfs this weekend.
|
Re: Looking for the lime green Activator
Now thta sounds like a plan!!!!!
HEY TED YOU LISTENIN'? :D |
Re: Looking for the lime green Activator
I saw the all lime green 28' on the bay I saw the lime green with yellow 28' on the bay
But still no 32' velocity with triple mercs!!!!! But I have not seen bigfoot either! Do they even exist?? |
Re: Looking for the lime green Activator
mmwalters,
It's easy to think of the 27 as a 28 just by it's sheer performance. But just for clarification, the former and present crafts of Maher's are 27's. And, what a waste of three Mercury's. Link's should have put them on a 36 Concept and avoided all of the ridicule. Russ |
Re: Looking for the lime green Activator
Hey Mike I got in front of your house today when that f***** storm hit, were did that come from,it was sunny and then bam,I heard a few people down the bay got really blasted, will go back out tommorrow and hope the weather holds out.Ted did you get those egg beaters runnin yet,I am gettin hungry and thirsty,I spoke with BJ the other day and he said he was so parched that his spit was turning to sand because he is so thirsty and waiting on you.
|
Re: Looking for the lime green Activator
I'll be out tomorrow....Hear that there was BIG water down the bay. A few friends were down at Red Eyes and said it hit on the way back
|
Re: Looking for the lime green Activator
Hey Ted, Are you going to be out tomorrow? And not in a Concept or a Triton.....lets get that Triple out there!! :D
|
Re: Looking for the lime green Activator
Bill I can let you slide for today. That wind did really kick up, :p but next time you are near the house I expect a call and a ride! I forget what a real boat with real motors feels like. Plus that will be the only chance I will ever have to ride in a 32' velocity
|

Okay guys finally its the time of year when we come to appreciate what winer had long concealed. Also a time to renew relationships and create new ones. We are not getting off to a good start here, but then again, some things never change.
