I highly respect the boat, but the number seems ambitious.

Is that everyday production boat with a cabin and an x dimension the average perf boater can get on plane with?

Or is it light layup, super high x, six blade, no cabin, moons in alignmen,t 70 degree air with a tail wind, in perfect chop with 20 gallons.

I guess what I'm asking is what's an everday speed?

Cat, its not impossible, cuz the 29extreme runs 82-83 w/ a 496/425.

No doubt it's possible, but at what trade off and how consistently- that's what I'm asking:)

Isn't the extreme a no frills low rider type? Then I guess the same questions would apply to thier 82-83.

If it's a real world everyday number, more power to them, I just want to confirm.

My production Daytona had a best of 99.0 but on any given day it was good for 90-95 depending on a host of variables.

I'm an advocate of everyday numbers more so than "I saw it once numbers". I can see 90 in my Pantera, if I glance at the gage while my Dodge is haulin it:)

The extreme had a basic cabin w/ cushions, no portapotti. They were getting consistant low 80s.

And both of these are sitdown hotrods.

I dont think you could compare either of these to your 28. Different animals.

I have been 93 in the 27 with a 525 with 3 people  If you have your doubts come down and we will give you a ride ;)
