I sold the 27 back in April. I wasn't using it hence the sale. Big thanks to BJ Maher for putting out the word. I do have an interest in the SOB style boats. The small splash well on your boat is what I like. I really can't see why the manufacturers (Tuff, Intimidator, Superboat) are incorporating this feature (large splash well) in these size boats if a setback is being used. Seems like wasted space. Maybe I am missing something. The gas tank is probably aluminum. That would be a good question for the boys over at S&F. Here's a pic of your boat, back in the day. Russ |

The true test for SOB racing will be this year down at Patchogue. OPA has made it very affordable to participate in that event. I think SOB is true entry level racing. I would like to see some more pics of the Hyper Active. Russ |
Nice pic! I am told the boat won a world or national title back in the early/mid '90's anyone know? I would like to get a 2.4 or 2.5 on the boat eventually.
