Repo - good deal on a 30
 

Nice 30 for sale - good deal. I heard they may take 55k. clearly the original big engine and imco drive were switched out before it was repoed. This boat is on activators website.

try this - look under bosats and then "used boats" and then performance. It is at Islander Family Boat Center on long island. It had an MRD blower motor in it originally, still has the boost gauge at the dash. Skip at MRD Eastshore would know the details.

I ran with this boat last year when it had big power. It kicked my azz. The boat is absolutely beautiful. Sorry to hear it got repoed.

i ran with this boat and ray "raytart"last year.
i offered jamie $100k for it and he said he wasnt ready to sell. im going to have to take a look at this on monday.

I would too. That's a bad boat for the money. Put some power in it and your still well ahead.

a nice new 525 in it and it will be just as fun as the previous crazy azz blower motor with out the headaches.

it was repo-d now has a mild bbc with a standard bravo 1
boat used to run 110+ with big pwr..paint and rig is first class!!

i know i ran with jamie in it a couple of times when i had my 28 AT. and fell in love with the boat ever since.
i cant understand why it was repod.
who took out the previous hardware.
paint has minor chips. looks like a simple fix as long as you can find who painted it.

saw it today....looks decent.....a few odds and ends and its a decent deal.....

yes he ate up the imco extreme sc, then switched to some new imco they came out with, and still blew a dride almost every trip.
i wish that boat had a # 6 set up. maybe not cause of the weight.

525 with XR...you'll be doing mid 80's through some snotty water.

Saw that boat in some magazine or other. Fantastic looking boat. Had a 950hp mill in it at the time.

I would look good in that:drink: If the Saber sells and if it's still available......damn that's alot of if's.

Does anybody know what the offers are. Also is there a possibility that the boat was damaged, Then the big motor and drive were taken out?.

I heard they had a standing offer of 50k. I also understand MRD tried to make an offer but it was declined by the bank. I don't know what the offer was, but i bet Skip at MRD would now the entire story.

i ran the yellow 30 (identical boat as this one)in sarasota with angelo the owner of activator with the big motor (950 hp)that was in this boat and a imco sc..from sarasota to punta gorda and back,,at an avarage of 95-100+ in snotty water for over a hr each way with 0 issues.if you drive the boat correctly these boats with pwr will not break a imco sc. That boat spun out right in front of me at the patchogue race two years ago. I was the turn boat, saw JC's eyes as they were spinning and recovered to continue on.

I heard that boat running at the boat yard and it sounded sick the sales person said its a 454 but i doubt it sounds better. I was also told it was sold and the person is going this thurday to pick it up i wonder who bought that activator it is a sick looking boat.
