That boat was Gene's boat. I bought it from a bank about 8 or 9 years ago, and was going to keep it because I thought it was cool. I just couldn't justify the repower costs (it had one missing engine and one of the others was missing the exhaust headers) so I sold it to a local guy here in Norwalk who kept it for a few years and then he sold it to Billy L. I saw Billy out with it a few weeks ago and I got really jealous and was kicking myself for selling it all those years ago!

Billy did a real nice job on it, Tom! I wish I was able to get more pics of it this summer. I just picked up my boat from him on Saturday. The winter project is going to be converting the 3 TRS drive to Bravos on standoff boxes. He put 13 hours on it this summer...still not sure of top end numbers.

I'm not sure I'd give up the TRS drives for Bravos with 700 hp 400+ ci blower engines...

If I kept the boat I was going to put Bravos on her, but the whole project just got out of my budget. With the Bravos replacing the TRS, you would add a lot of speed and then you wouldn't need all that horsepower!

VERY cool boat!

You know Billy though. He likes having the fastest, louest boats around.

I gotta get some better pics for you guys. I'm stopping by in a few weeks and will see if I can get some of the engines/cockpit.

I f you are worried about Bravo's handling 700 Hp, I own the old 38 Activator "After Shock" that Mark use to race. It has 750HP and Bravo XR's. It has been bullet proof so far. It runs 103 and really handles the rough stuff. I attached some recent pictures.

Nice boat. The blower engines make significantly more torque than your NA engines do and torque is what kills bravos...

cool ride for sure, I would leave the TRS myself not worth the change IMO but then Id be very happy with the speeds its running.

Guess it all depends on how fast you wanna go

That boat brings the buying itch back to me. Any more pics? Seriously sexy lines on that boat.

Pretty sure XRs are rated for 750.
