Custom paint and has a theft recovery title with a new H.I.N.

When you go to sell it, these two items may cause you grief and a sale price you wont like.

The boat is sitting at Suffolk county impound lot, has been since 2009, if you are local to that area and know the pd just ask anyone of them, they all know where it is.

Yes, the boat was mine for 8 months before the authorities showed uo at my front door with a valid warrant and presented it to my wife while I was at work. Needless to say they took the boat, and trailer, that was dec. 2009. Now that the case may be ending I have been contacted to see what if any interest I have in the boat. Loved the boat, had a great time on what I thought was a legit 2008 activator. Well now we all know
It is in fact a stolen 2005 activator that was once all blue. I highly doubt
I will make any effort other than these posts to buy it back. To much drama that I do not need comes with that particular boat.

Did you at least get your money back on the original purchase?

yes, I unknowingly purchased what was presented to me as a 2008 activator with 62 hours on it. The authorities in suffolk county had already been watching the boat for some time when it suddenly disappeared from the OPA circuit. That is until I bought it, paid taxes on it in New Jersey, and registered it. They watched me for the entire time I owned the boat to be sure that I was not involved in what has been discussed in the Cardshark threads. The gentleman I purchased the boat from assured me that he had no idea it was stolen, and that at the end of the day he would do right by me and my family.
Well thats all well and good and reads like a fairy tale, when the F$$K is the end of the day? It has been going on for 3 years now, I can only hope that the justice system does the right thing, everyone who is charged hires a lawyer, everyone who is charged can be indicted, everyone who is indicted is allowed to read the discovery used to indict them.
after reading the discoveries you would think that those who are charged would do what they could to do right and reduce the amount of exposure they could make for themselves by going to a trial. In the end who knows what they will do or plea too.
