any 32s for sale?

I know there are only 5 made, and 1 is currently in Sweden. Any of the other 4 for sale? Thanks in advance, Rob

Gladhe8er 01-30-2012 10:37 AM

One is at Rage Powerboats in Bridgeport, CT right now getting an overhaul(not for sale). "Slim Shady" is another one in the midwest I believe(it sold a year or two ago). Not sure where the other two are. One of them was for sale out of CA(I think) a year or two ago...it was white with purple and blue graphics.

SFOcean 01-30-2012 11:13 PM

Slim Shady is now in the California Delta (near San Francisco, CA).

obsessed1 01-31-2012 09:11 AM

gladhe8er: Thanks for the info. The white with purple and blue is the 1 I am looking for. I remember it being for sale a year or 2 ago at some camper place.

SFOcean: Is Slim Shady for sale?

Gladhe8er 01-31-2012 11:15 AM

I think I just found the 5th one(had forgotten about this one):
http://www.midcoastperformancemarine..._activator.htm

So now I think we have all 5 accounted for:
1. The race boat above(no idea how old that ad is)
2. Slim Shady in CA
3. Mange's old "On the Chip" raceboat in Sweden
4. The one at Rage in Bridgeport, CT. Currently silver, but was white with graphics I believe
5. White one with purple/blue graphics

obsessed1 01-31-2012 12:12 PM

I believe the one you posted the picture on was redone, and now is the white one with purple and blue graphics. Does anyone know if the 32 molds are still around?

Rage Powerboats in Bridgeport, CT has them. They will build a 32. My dad got a quote from them(Don't ask how much because I don't know).

this is one of them...guy named Doc owned it I think

Gladhe8er 01-31-2012 04:07 PM

I'm not sure which one is at Rage, but I know a doctor owns it, so maybe it's the same "Doc" and boat that offshoredrillin posted.

That's the only picture I've seen on that one. Thank's :)
Anymore info of that boat, engine, drive, speed etc? Where's the boat today? So maybe that's the one at
Rage now? Maybe Tom@ Rage knows?

Guys, thanks for all the info. I will call rage tomorrow.

Broynxphantom106: How did the 32 activator compare in ride to your 30 phantom?

Thanks Rob

Hull #1 originally had a canopy, the only one built with a canopy. The boat was a stretched 27'. The Bronx Bandit as shown in Post #9; also the 'Outlaw' boat.

Hull #2 was Louie the Rigger's. Originally as shown in post #8, then 'Strictly Business' (both blue and white) and now looks like this.

Hull #3 is Slim Shady, not for sale; just updated engine, trans and drive. It is the only one built with a 'cabin' and never raced.

Hull #4 is Mange's, was JCPerformance

Hull #5 is the Doc's, I believe the one that is being worked on now as previously mentioned.

If any of my posts are incorrect, I would really like to know the truth, thanks, Greg

Hi man, I think I got those photos somewhere from the board here. Can you give us some more info about this mean boat? :) You got any other photos of it?

Is that the only picture we have on that boat? Is that a 2005?

Thanks for the history lesson SFOcean!

What would you guys think about a 32' with twin 300XS OB's?

not sure of the year, but that is a good guess. That is the only photo I have. It is from OSO.

Probably too stern heavy and not enough room to mount them as the boat is only 6' 6" wide at the stern and 600 HP may not be enough power. These boats really like power, that's why Mange's was re-rigged with a six drive to Slim's specs. You need at least 850-900 propshaft HP in these boats in my opinion.

JJD 02-09-2012 07:42 PM

team outlaw is the 1st which is now the Doc,s boat. Mark cut the deck open. Bronx Bandt is #2. The first pic in post #15 is the Bronx Bandt.

So there were two canopied boats built? Hull No. 1 (Outlaw) and No. 2 (Bronx Bandit).

The above makes Louie's the last and No. 5.

SpeedGirl 02-11-2012 04:05 PM

Team Outlaw is hull 1 it's a 98' , Bronx Bandt is a 99'.

SFOcean 02-12-2012 04:06 PM

Thanks for the dates; my hull #3 was started in 2002.

I tried buying one that was for sale here in the Pacific NW just prior to the dealer going out of business. It at the time had a JC Blower motor in it. Within a week it disappeared. Which hull # was it?

#5, the last one from Activator.

louietherigger 05-25-2012 06:17 PM

Yep the Blue hull was number 5 and built as Strictly Business. It also has a different keel, Mark put a flat spot from the bow starting at a point and grew wider towards the 1st step to counter chine walking at speed. I believe we got the boat in 2006, real nice rigging on her.
Needs an aluminum fuel tank if it hasn't been put in already.

extreme01ta 07-26-2012 10:24 PM

I see this is an older thread but thought I would chime in. The one that you all refer to as #5 (formerly Strictly Business) now resides in Casper WY. I bought it from the RV place in MN. and have been enjoying it since. It is currently getting "freshened" up with an Arneson surface drive and will have an aluminum tank installed before she hits the water. I've also thought about finishing the cabin. We'll see.

Lets see some pics of the re-do!

Hang Time27 05-07-2022 12:31 PM

#5 never got the arneson, nor it’s alumn tank. Hopefully it will get the tank this winter since it’s back in the land of no non-ethanol gas with me. SCX upper going on it, then will see how much longer the JC motor makes it. Will re-evaluate which direction to go for the drive and engine at the end of the season.
