The old f-1 boat has been totaly re-done.Paint,blue printed bottom, new imco gimble and drive.A real 1175 hp,herring 6-blade, windscren, PPI int, completly rerigged with new fuel tank
If your boats don't go 120 mph, you got no shot. As for the white 30, the thing went 106 with 825 hp, another 300 hp, +wilson lower unit, bottom blue-printed , herring propeller, lot's of luck. |
Yes. The new owner has years of experience running the old team outlaw boat and has spared no exspence to make this boat the trick/fast piece it is.

It's a whipple

Whipple, nice. They are screw type rotors right? what kind of boost do they usually put out on a setup like this?
|
Question, is the 30 a 27 with a swim platform ? or is it a true 30 foot of running surface .
Thank's mike |
It's a foot more running surface with a swim platform.

Just stopped up at Rage Performance Boats and saw the new 30 Rage being built. The construction was far superior to any previous models. The fit and finish is second to none. The motor is going in and they're hoping to surpass the 125mph mark. check it out.
Does activator just build one lay up and its built strong to begin with . Thank's mike |

Only 2 in existence. Mark corrected all the design flaws of the 27 Activator when he made the 28 Rage. It is an awesome boat. I've ridden in the 2 28's and I don't think there is anything out there that could compete with them...

Your right talk is cheap , so bring your boat down to l.i. South shore poker run and you will find out what the yellow and white boat are packin!

All of the Activator/Rage boats are vacume bagged balsa cored bottoms beveled and resin soaked compleatly sealed to stop water intrusion. They have divinicell hull sides and decks also vacume bagged. It would be easy to build them lighter but we like the way they handle at the heavier layup.

Would a balsa cored hull side 30 been a special order? |

The "white" one currently under the knife has balsa cored hull sides. Not a crack in it its a strong boat. |

Some activator/rage have balsa in the sides, balsa being stronger however the bottom material runs up the side and the deck is glassed to the hull with two layers of 1708 biax, making the sides very strong with either core. If I wanted to save some weight foam was used

The business end of things with the "white boat" http://i657.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps7f733bf2.jpg |
i think i went and looked at that progression. def have to say one of the cleanest used boats thats ive seen in awhile. also saw a sick 7 series bmw alpina. lots of luck with the white boat
|
That bottom job looks awesome. I saw the yellow 27 the other day, the pictures don`t do it justice, it`s beautiful. I love the dash`s and the way he recessed the seats into the side of the cockpit. All the little details make it stand out from all the other 27`s
