Quick answer: similar excellent build quality. Activator has a smaller cockpit, race hatch, no swim platform, step hull on newer boats. Sort of depends on how fast you want to go with what kind of power and how much space you want.
PM me if you want more specifics about either boat. Would not go wrong either one.

Definitely gonna go with Pleasure. I'd probably have to find another place to live if a race hull showed up in the drive way... I know there are hulls out there that are more suited for comfort but the wife doesn't have to know that :-) and I'm a motor head heart. I still haven 't heard any responses of anyone putting real big power in one of these hulls...

as the builder of the 27 activator i can tell you this. if you put 850 hp in a 27 that weighs 4750 fully rigged, you will see 112. however to achieve this weight you`ll have to add 400 lb`s to the belly just inside the cabin door. also a 2'' shorty prop shaft 2 1/2 '' below the bottom. as a foot note the 27 mold has been sold to mange in sweden, and i am sure he would love to build you 1. shipping is very inexpensive.

Mark; correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you're referring to my 27! .........Black baja; just for cross referencing, I'm running just under 800 Hp w/ specified x-dim. And 32 4 blade and I see 106 gps any time; scary as hell! Awesome boat! Thanks Mark!

So, does anyone know of any 27 hulls laying around? I think I might want to try and put some power to one and see what it will do
