380 tabs vs 280 tabs
My 27 Activator Has 280 trim tabs on it but noticed most 27s are using 380s. Would like to know the pro's and con's of of the 380s. I know that I can just replace the bottoms which I will do if it has a positive performance to it. I know at top end you run with tabs up but but if there is a positive anywhere in in rpm range I will replace them. Best boat I've owned so far.

Totally different boat, but on my 37AT I direct swapped the bottom plates from 280 to 380, and I definitely liked the boat's handling better. I left them at neutral nearly always, except getting on plane.

Thanks Sydwayz for input.

I am also trying to find where I can get a new deck Activator decal. Mine is is cracking and curling at all edges.

Also curious about the 380 tabs... |
I just bought a set for a 30 I'll let you know what it does.

I have 380s on a 27. Will be out soon to try them. I've also had 280s on a 27. I'll bet you could get into trouble fast with 380s. Even with 280s. I mostly ran them flat to slightly negative or raised

we run 380s on a hard charging 25 active thunder they work awesome much better than 280s
