28 Savage Extension box? prop rotation?

what results from a extension box on a 28 Savage? How about listing to left side and porpoising without a box? any ideas?

Does it matter we all know what it will do.

Actually, yes it does. Which bottom and what "X" are factors.

And you all know what it will do? OK, tell me.

I was told by a few A/T owners that boxes don't work on this stepped hull at all.

Conventional Deep-Vee. Not quite sure where the stepped 28s are but I would love to ride in one!

The way I understand it is the original 28, like mine, was based off the 31 fish boat and has a notched transom. I could be wrong on this part but the last two or three built were based off the 32 and they do not have a notch. As far as the box is concerned I don't have a clue.

Mike,

That would be 31 the center console performance boat, not a fish boat.

I thought it was going to a new home but it looks like I'll be keeping it. I don't really care, I was just wanting to move up to a larger A.T. My boat is just the right size for the lakes I run but when I go up to Lake Michigan a set of twins and another 9 ft of hull would be nice. Now as far as handling I have never seen any listing out of mine though I did see a few dolphins behind me in January. :D

My best guess from experience is that what is called 'listing' is actually prop torque from a dead stop and really more of an acceleration 'roll'. Never had one porpoise.

Hey, Mike, are they steaks yet?
