I am going to put a post on the www.cbpba.com site for you. I have met the gentleman who owns it. We have the only 2- 37ATs with 496 HOs in them. He lives somewhere around the Annapolis area of Maryland.

I just saw it for sale for 195K, seems steep?? I was wondering what the name was, it was blocked by the upright posts on the lift.

Make that 3 37 AVH's with 496 HO's.
I keep my boat in Grand Haven, MI.
Mine is loaded and has only 60 hrs.

Post a pic, I lived in Holland until last summer, never saw it, What year is it? I'm assuming '04 with 60 hours. Side entry cabin or center? Only one I saw at Smoke was was Thunder 'N Lightning, Did you not run? That is the 1st in Michigan that I know of (37 that is). Sweet!!! Hope to see it sometime.

It is a 2003, it was the 7th 37 with Millenium interior and 4th with raised deck. It has side entry cabin. I was in the SOTW in 2003. Only got out 4 times last year because we were building a new house. I live in Brighton and don't get out as much as I would like. I don't have any digital pictures to post at this time, not a real computer jock by any means. Pat does have it on the AT site under owner boats. The paint is purple and yellow and some red with the name Fast Forward on both sides and the deck. I keep the boat at The Wharf Marina in/out service. I use to frequent the site alot under the name Roughstuff then got busy with other things!

i also saw it for 159K on a different site, two different brokers, dont want to bother with the brokers if i can get ahold of the owner. just was not sure how old the adds were.

i love those 37's with the side entry, millenium cabin.

i talked to a dealer today and he said they were still making them, i said you mean chief right and he said the bigger boats are chiefs the active thunders are still active thunders??? i dont really care just like the boat.

atfastforward if you ever make it up to northern michigan let me know, i would love to show my wife your boat. we went to the factory before any of the millenium's were done, and i know she would love it.

yzbert, not a problem! Unfortunately, we just don't get that far north with the boat very often. I will be up in the Charlevoix area in a couple of weeks but we are not bring the boat.

Do I read your post correctly that Pat is no longer building the 37's? I was in Grand Haven this past weekend and someone else mentioned that the molds were sold to Chief. I didn't think much of it because I hadn't heard this from any other source. Is only going to be making 25, 28 and 32's? I am surprised since normally the bigger the boat the bigger the profit!

Pat might jump in here but it is my understanding that they are building the 28, 33 and 37 under the Chief name but as an Active Thunder series. Also I am quite sure that Pat still owns the molds.

Just saw a pic of yours ATFastforward, looks cool, can barely read the caption with the font and color on the picture.

It also shows a red boat with Ho's in the owners pics, Is that Excursions boat, that he repowered??? Anyone know

I spoke with the gentlemen that owns the boat last winter about buying the boat, If memory serves me correctly, he is the second owner of the boat the first was a guy from NY but kept it at his Lauderdale house, which the boat was listed for $159,000 two winters ago. The new owner (2nd) is a Delaware State Trooper, I use to have his e-mail address, I will have to look at my home computer????

You are correct. James/Excursion bought the factory 'demo' boat without its HOs, and installed his HP500 Carbs which are now up to around 565HP each. It has red, blue, and silver graphics.

Brian, I just remembered I never sent you the paint formula for the purple. I will do it when I get back in tomorrow morning.

And I have to think about the 496 thing. I think 4. :rolleyes:

Whatever is kept in Pats Marina on the Northeast river in Northeast Md. I'm going down there friday....I'll look to see if it is still there. Nice boat...keeps it on a hoist :cool:

Fast Forward isn't currently for sale but that could change.
Between my wife traveling all over the world for work and the kids/family stuff we don't get out that much. My wife keeps saying to hold onto it because it is a great get away. I'll have to admit I still get a big grin on my face when I put the throttles down.

John, Edgewater and APM are further up the South River. You have to come down the Bay, past the Bay Bridge and head northwest up the South River. If you do a Yahoo-Map-Search on their location, I think you find water directions as well.
