Blue printing the hull of a Tantrum

I have a 25' Cannon Powerboat. (now Active Thunder) I'm thinking of blueprinting the hull. What do you guys think? Has anyone done this? Knowing a little about alot, I'm thinking of doing this myself. Do you know of anyone who can do this in the chicago area? Please advise.
