Re: THE 37' AT with SSM VI drives and MONSTER power...
Those #6s on boxes look awesome on the back of that boat. Does anyone know what the top speed of that boat is?

Re: THE 37' AT with SSM VI drives and MONSTER power...
The ad says 130+

Re: THE 37' AT with SSM VI drives and MONSTER power...
It has wing on it, is that a "tuner boat" :D
|
Re: THE 37' AT with SSM VI drives and MONSTER power...
130 mph hahahaha the owner of the boat or better yet the guy that use to race it which i bealive was the owner was the kinda of guy that swears he knows everything and would talk so much crap. that boat for sure does not run 130 if anything 115 tops or like dkwestern it has wings on it. but nice looking boat.

Re: THE 37' AT with SSM VI drives and MONSTER power...
I don't doubt you about the owner being a know it all or embellishing things. But, for the sake of argument, if a 37 AT with 675 KE's will do 100, what would 1250's realistically bring it to?

Re: THE 37' AT with SSM VI drives and MONSTER power...
that boat "was" really nice when it was new.

I have no doubt the boat is fast, but would love to see what it could do in other "situations". |
Re: THE 37' AT with SSM VI drives and MONSTER power...
$255,000 for a 5 year old race boat. Now that is funny!!!!! :D  :D

Re: THE 37' AT with SSM VI drives and MONSTER power...
I dont know that funny is the right word for it. But pretty close.

Re: THE 37' AT with SSM VI drives and MONSTER power...
Did anyone see the exhaust????? I find it pretty suspicious that you can make 1250 HP with stock elbow tops with 4" tips. I remember this boat being at A/T a few years back when I went to look at Gordos boat there. They were fixing stringers and gel-coat when it was still an F-2 boat. Scarey.

Re: THE 37' AT with SSM VI drives and MONSTER power...
What a waste of a great boat.

Re: THE 37' AT with SSM VI drives and MONSTER power...
That whole set up just looks scary to say the least

Re: THE 37' AT with SSM VI drives and MONSTER power...
Wasn't that not a Bravo boat when it raced?
Looks like the older wet sump 6's. |
Re: THE 37' AT with SSM VI drives and MONSTER power...
it never did any thing as a f2 boat...and still with over 2000hp and #6's, it's still getting past by f2 boats in moderate to rough waters.
what up gordo!!!!???? |
Has this boat been run lately? This is an old thread, but such a cool boat, Id like to hear more about it...Anyone know real speed numbers?
|

It's built like a Sherman tank. It has at least 2x the normal bulkheads and knees in it.
Remember the AT that went up the mountain years ago? This one would have gone through it. :D |
