Without knowing much about you, your likes, dislikes it's hard to say. But off the top of my head Gone Coastal sounds catchy. Give more info. and I can think of some others; luv that sort of stuff and am good at it.

It is a 2004 with a 525 efi.
It is up in Md. I'm going to have it ship on Monday or Tuesday to Ga.

I have had Cats for the last 6 years and I have one being built this is going to fill in until the new boat is done.

Re: Need some help

Yes that is it. How did the boat run?
I'm buying it with out riding or looking at.
I had a friend look at it this week and he said it was in great shape.

Thanks Dave

Re: Need some help

I have not run on that boat, but I have been on a similar setup 28' 525EFI, and it peforms very well. Very snappy. I don't remember the speeds though. (You may want to pull two plug wires until you get your confidence up. :D )

That boat was at the dealer when I had mine in for some gel-coat work. Its a very striking paint job, and you won't be disappointed. Rick and Glenn at APM are good people.

The boat will be at my home on Wednesday.

Re: Need some help

I would find it hard to believe that it is not paint. If it is the boat that was in the the shop at A.T. this past march it is paint. WOW how can you buy a boat and not know if its painted? Good luck with it you will love it. Mine is great fun in the rough. it feels alot bigger than it is. and nobody ever believes its only 28 ft.

What speed do you get out of your 28?
What is your motor and year? He just can't remember it was late and raining that day.But what ever it is I will be fine it looks like a Great boat.
Thanks Dave

Re: Need some help

Dave, we are still trying to get mine dialed in. It's a 2006 525 with ITS xr drive it is the first one with ITS so somethings may still need to be worked out. Also I am in N.Y. and we cannot have switchable exhaust so I have mufflers that are robbing power. so now it is running 70. Pat is sending me a pair of pipes and a labbed 26 bravo 4 blade. so we will start there. I hpoe to test with open pipes and find alot more HP. also the the prop I have now is only getting 4800 rpm so I hope between the two things I pickup more than 6or 7 mph. \time will tell mark

The man how has the boat right now said that the best he saw was 76mph. I will be boating in Ga and Sarasota Fl in the winter.

[QUOTE=suncoastdave]Yes that is it.

I'm jealous, I love those colors. Been looking at Formula and Sonic for 8 months. Just recently learned about AT (OSO) and was eyeballing that boat. Congrats! PM me and let me know how you like it.

Chris,

I bought my 37AT from a guy who lives in Phoenix and keeps a place at Havasu as well. I don't know of very many ATs out west but there is a sweet PR edition 37AVH in SoCal. If I can be of assistance in helping you get one, let me know. I speak with the guys at the AT factory every few days. If you find youself travelling east, stick a post up in here as the density increases as you head east and I don't know an AT owner that would not take time to show it with you.

Thanks for the help Brian, Realistically I'm probably looking at this fall to next spring before I buy. I'm trying to pay my truck off first. I've just been researching and keeping an eye out. I figure if a smoking deal came along I would push it and buy sooner. I was looking at 32 to 35 footers. But I do like the AT's and I hear they ride much bigger. I don't think I can afford or want a 37 (trailering/limited parking at the lake). Trying to stay in the 50 to 80k bracket. I figure I'll have to buy back east if I go with AT or Sonic.

sleek1 08-02-2006 01:35 AM

Re: Need some help

Brian,
if you are familiar with Sleekcraft (my last boat 26), how is the room in the AT compare in regard to head room in the cabin and the bed length. I'm 6'2 and both are high up on my priority list because I overnight a lot.

I love the looks of that boat, especially in all of the ads in mags. What makes it a "poker run edition" does it have a simple cabin? half cabin? I know it has 525 Efi's Just Curious??

It has a special "Turbo Boost" button located in the center of the dash very similar to Knight Rider. :D :D

I know Pat did some more custom touches on that boat; which of course are available on any new boat. I am sure Pat will elaborate when he checks in next; or I will add some info when I talk to Pat next.

It is a beautiful boat.

Re: Need some help

Does it have red L.E.D.s on the bow? :D
Does it hace autopilot to drive you home after the bar?? :D :D
