It was hard to focus on the boats. They flashed by pretty quickly. I thought the concept was good though.

Still undecided on logo. Need help guys! Do I just leave it off the side? Will people be able to read the logo on the sun pad as I go by? 'Cause this boat will be turning some heads! |
You know my opinion.
Put the logo on the side!! |
Needs to be somewhere on the boat, top, gunel, or sides???? Your choice.......good looking boat.

When does the lightning go on? :D :D
I think something subtle above the rub rail would look nice with the Active logo, with 'Thunder' ghosted in. |

Macklin and I are working with Deck Logo and sunpad.
Our thoughts are not to take away from the artwork on the sides. Ideas? |

I like what you did on the deck of REMEDY. I think it would work well with Macklin's design.
I would leave the sunpad alone. |

I'm with Steve....on the deck, middle to port side area. Lesley thinks on the sides like ours....
|
And yes that is Pat in June of '99 giving our new AT a bath prior to us leaving for Pa.:D
|
leave the sides alone!!! Do it on the top with the Thunder as a ghost, the sun pad should get the oval. But thats just my 2cts. It looks awsome so far.
|
The boat looks REAL good.
|
That's a sweet lookin AT! They just keep gettin' better. Keep practicing with all these new ideas so my next AT will be perrrrfect!! If my #'s hit in powerball I'll be looking at that 37 w/700's your starting soon. Can't wait to see all the AT's together @ Jammin on the James.

From the condition of the clearcoat/ drives/ motor, can't drive a diesel powered one either!! :drink: |
wow that is sweet, congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, like i said the real colors much cooler than the drawings, and i am sure its even better in person! WOW
|
Come on guys...Don't be so hard on Rich...he's getting old ya know. :D
|
Hey Pat, Just added a forward Bomar deck hatch over the V-berth...Wow..that is un-nerving....measure ten times-cut once! I also added the trim rings to both hatches. It was tough to sleep on w/o air flow. Are you gonna paint the hatches on Macklin's boat? I was just wondering..looks like he opted not to paint them like REMEDY.
|
Spil, Got any pictures of the hatch install? I'd like to see them.
|
R Addict, Not yet...I just finished the install today. The hardest part was deciding how far forward to place it. Farther forward is good for ventilation over our heads, but looks better from the outside a little further back. So I split the difference and it came out great. I think it is 42" inside edge to inside edge from the rear hatch and about 58" from the very front of bow. I purchased the Bomar low profile from West Marine...They sent the wrong hatch twice before they got it right. I about killed someone! Then I was so pissed I waited six months to install it. I'll get a few pics tomorrow & send you one.
|
I think the logo came out perfect  Macklin I'm going down next week to pick mine up and i will get some pics. also. That boat is really coming together now. They always look better in real life than the rendering. Just wait till you see it in person the first time. You'll be blown away!!! :D :drink:
I'll go with Rich on the sea trial and make sure he doesn't buy diesal :evilb: |
