Finally got the measurements.....
From the inside of the transom assy. 10 inchs too the bottom of the boat. |
looks a little crooked, could you measure it again??? :drink:

Clark Please chime in here :D

Thanks for the info. I will take a look at mine next time. YOu have a one inch spacer correct? If so, you are really 9 inches from the bottom.
|
It is not crooked smart A S S!!!!
Yes, I have a 1 inch spacer in the drive. It does not matter about that where I measured. I measured off the TRANSOM ASSY. (on the inside of the drives) down too the bottom of the boat. So if you go from there it does not matter if ytou have a spacer. |
The spacer only plays in when you start having to correct for the X-dem.
|
That is what I mean. I my is 10 inches also my drive is 1 inch higher than his due to the spacer. His is one inch deeper inthe water... Trying to compare apple to apples here.
|
Your prop is higher..not the drive.
If I understand this the top of ya'lls drives are at the same place below the rubrail. The spacer puts his prop lower...to correct for that "nose bleed" drive height. |
Yes you are so right, if your drive is 10 inch's also then try a 1 inch spacer and you should pick up like I did. I went fron 24% slip to 14% slip by getting the prop in cleaner water. Hole shot is ALOT better and cruise also.
|
Do you have to trim as far? What prop were you running prior to the spacer? Thanks for the info...
