32 water puddling

Hopefully some other owners of the 32 can chime in. I believe this is a common problem with the design on the deck. My concern is when the boat is sitting in the water and if it rains, the water likes to collect between the first hatch and the bottom of the fairing. If your window is not completely latched or if your seals are bad, you get soaked. Has anyone come up with an idea or a fix for this problem. I was thinking about pulling down the headliner and installing a thru hull fitting and using that to act like a drain. I would notch out a groove so a drain hose would connect to the fitting and run the hose to the side of the boat and down the gunnel and tee it in to the bildge dumps. This way everything would be under the headlinder and out of view. Is this a crazy idea or do you think it would work?

I had a 32 and I always just used a big squigee , worked good to remove all the water. I just would not drill a hole in the top deck. Just keep the hatch closed GOOD!!!!
