Madkat 06-08-2007 04:54 PM

Congrats. That is awesome. Have about 360 hrs on mine, but new motors and drives at 300.

boatfreak 06-08-2007 05:10 PM

Would anyone care to guess how many Miller Lite long necks it took to get that many hours on her?:drink: :p

Congrats guys, she's a great boat and the first 37 I got a ride in.

TexomaPowerboater 06-08-2007 05:42 PM

Are you sure that the hour meter doesn't run while your are sitting listening to the radio.

I LOVE the way you blame that slow-ride on the hours.....

Wear your dinner-roll helmets if you don't keep up this year!

Jassman 06-09-2007 08:19 AM

Congrats Bob and Shari. I will get with you in the next few months, looking forward to a little R&R.:drink: later Jeff

KAAMA 06-09-2007 08:34 PM

Of course you were watching. We all know you didn't DO anything. :D :evilb:

h2owarrior 06-11-2007 07:21 AM

Bob, Thumbs up from China. And don't let Pat give you any crap. From my experience he has a lot to pass around, so I guess everyone has to take some:D

Maybe, if Pat would sell us a boat, we will see you on a future run....you never know.

Your boat still looks great. How long before you think you'll need to do something to the motors or maybe another AT:cool: ?

R Addiction 06-11-2007 09:59 AM

Congrats!!! We started this last weekend with 333.5 hours.

Ran great....steering is nice......Not that I condone this but I can actually get changed into my swim shorts while running along at 45 mph with no hands on the wheel ....and I switch the lanyard over also....:D Had a little oil in the bilge....not sure if its residual from the o-ring phuck up I had but the fluid never went down and all in all it was a great weekend!!!:D Thanks for askin....

Yeah yeah, Pat had my hands tied behind my back!! lol Actually, I do remember going to alot of boat shows and living out of a suitcase a few days at a time.....but then again, the fumes from freshly sprayed gel coat early in the morning could've damaged some memory brain cells!

spilman 06-11-2007 10:36 PM

RAddiction...Looks nice, we are @ 355 hours on our 99...I did a leak down test end of last year & all cylinders are btween 160& 200psi. I'm told that's fine. The one cylinder on each motor that is 160/165 concerns me, But boatfixr says not to worry, that one is characteristically lower due to the location. What do you think?
Considering Prochargers/Arizona Speed next season; full hydraulic steering first though.

R Addiction 06-12-2007 09:55 AM

Just be sane with the boost....#'s aren't bad. But the motors aren't set up for alot of boost.

mrsattadj2 06-12-2007 10:59 AM

800 Hours.. and climbing!!

Yes, we have done work over the years.. it is a boat right?? :D We are very familiar with the BOAT acronym.. "Break Out Another Thousand... or two.. or ... anyway, as I just write the checks... I'll have to tell Bob to respond with what's been done...

The engines are the 500 EFIs

Thanks!! Hope to see you soon too... maybe Key West??? We won't be able to make it for the Jammin on the James run, to many things on the schedule already! Michigan in July, New York in August for a race, Key West in November.. maybe next year!

Thanks Mike.. I could not begin to guess, but I know if Bob ever switches beer brands Miller Lite will be laying off some people!! :drink: Course I can say the same thing about a couple others out there, I won't mention any names... you know who you are!! :D

No, the way you get 800 hours on your boat is that you move from Michigan to Florida where the only things that keep you from running your boat are:
1. Hurricanes
2. The weather dropping below 75 degrees.. then it's just to cold!! :D

No, it was just a lot easier to keep the martini's from spilling! :drink: Besides, I recall being the ones tied up to a dock drinking a cool one when you guys came rolling in!! :D
We didn't run her hard all day, but we didn't break!!

Yea, right...keeping up, being first, or just being a passenger keeps no one safe from your dinner roll throws.. just ask Dottie!!

Runn'n good Shari.

I don't think we'll make KW this year. If we do, it will be a last minute kinda thing. Too much on the plate this year.

Maybe next year.

based on my experiance I am guessing 675,314 if Miller has any sense they will buy Bob new engines and keep him on the water....by the way since we are talking about it Shari knows the real reason we were slow to Key West was not the hours but might have had more to do with the 8 people and the 1000lb's (NO JOKE) worth of beer coolers on board!! LOL:evilb:

spilman 06-12-2007 07:41 PM

So I've heard; 3.5-5psi max....is it gonna be worth it? Will it still be reliable? I gotta believe with 5 lbs.I would see mid 80's.
Mag MPI's do have forged cranks & pistons, so I'm thinking it will be o.k. up to 5psi. Maybe the valvetrain will be the weak link, but that's only speculation.

I gotta STOP Highjackin' threads!!
