This is the first 37' Active Thunder that was brought to the Mid-Atlantic area, and somewhat 'started the trend.' This boat was built with a light lay up by its original owner, Mark House, aka 'skater' here on OSO; of S-69 SHOWTIME racing. He later sold it to Mark & Michelle Michlovitz. Mark goes by 'OutlawMark' here on OSO.

Mark and Michelle are relocating, and wish to move to a CC type boat when they do. This is a sharp boat that has been indoor kept since new. It is also at a helluva price.

Looks like everyone wants a c.c. including me. Good luck Mark.
I'm including my truck with the boat too for $229,000.

That's the way they all used to be. Personally, I love the look when running, but some do not like them as such when they swim off the back often.

Thats almost affordable!!!!

I knew the 32s were like that, And that is what always kept me from buying one, never thought the 37s had it.

OutlawMark 07-21-2007 07:49 AM

Not comlpetely sold on CC.Still thinking about 28 AT!!

OutlawMark 07-21-2007 07:54 AM

The tail pies are never an issue using the swim platform as they never get hot.It is a little more effort to keep the platform clean ,but no big deal.

excursion 07-21-2007 11:51 AM

Mine was like that from the factory, when I put the CMI's on I blanked in the top deck and moved them under the platform so if you do not like it above it can be changed very easy. The pipes do not get hot, but just keep a rag on hand to wipe down the platform before walking on it and then back on the sunpad.

This is the boat Tbikini and I rode in when we were looking for boats back in 2001/2002. In fact, it was the ride in this boat that resulted in Thunder EnLightening.:D :D

It was a great ride.:evilb:

No, there have NOT been any bottom changes.

The hull and construction has some options if you want cabin liner or no liner, and the top deck has changed. The hull is all original as designed by Pat and Harry.

Although Brian is correct I have played with the step height through the years. This boat has a little higher step.

cosmic12 07-25-2007 05:24 PM

Thank you

My mistake, and my apologies Cosmic. However, I thought it was Bob & Shari's boat that was slightly taller.

Makes it go faster with less power......maybe. But too much power could affect the handling at higher speeds......I think:cool-smiley-011:

If I am not mistaken, Attitude Adjustment also has a larger step:readinghelp: Although I could be mistaken.

No Kevin you are not mistaken. Attitude does have the 5 inch step. I believe there were a few of the 5 inch step boats made before the step was cut down to 4.

Sydwayz 10-29-2007 10:01 AM

Price reduced again on this boat. Owners have sold their home, and moving to Florida. This boat HAS to go.
